Pro Bono and Community Service

Pro bono projects are an important part of our practice at Kasem Ko. We donate high quality legal services to individuals and charitable, religious, community, educational, and non-profit organizations that would otherwise be unable to benefit from legal representation. Every attorney at Kasem Ko devotes at least five percent of annual billable hours to pro bono matters. The firm ensures that legal representation is accessible to those of limited means by committing to pro bono projects involving:

  • Civil rights;
  • Battered women issues;
  • Social Security disability claims;
  • Preparation of wills, guardianship and adoption petitions;
  • Housing issues;
  • Unemployment cases;
  • Uncontested divorces;
  • Political asylum and immigration matters;
  • Representation of not for profits;
  • Children's issues;
  • Senior citizens' issues.
Our attorneys also regularly contribute to the community at large in a variety of non-legal ways. We are proud of our commitment to helping the communities that we share with our clients. Our attorneys generously volunteer and donate their personal time and resources to those with limited means, as well as to organizations committed to helping those in need.
